Alejandro Morelli (Alex)

Alex’s love of music began in his native Argentina when at the age of six he began to play with and then seriously use his cousin’s mixer who was a local musician at the time. His professional music career finally became a reality when he arrived in New York and qualified for his “dream job” as an intern at Unique Recording Studios in the late 90’s. At Unique and later at Quad, he expanded upon his music expertise, and was promoted to audio engineer.

During these years he worked on various projects with Bob Heil, Caleb Sherman, Vinny nicoletti, Gary toll, Rock Wilder, Leg Diamond, Patrick Adams, Steve Eigner, Artic Flow, D-Nuka, Sony Music, Def Jam, Atlantic to name the most prominent.

He created Oasys in 2005 after the economics of the music industry changed, making way for other considerations such as nearby New Jersey. His premise-- there should be an alternative to "apartment and bedroom" studios that had become the only affordable place to rehearse and record. Oasys focus is on these musicians. Alex believes all music artists, even those on a budget, should be able to employ a professional quality studio to showcase their work and talents.

At the age of 28, Alex is also involved in other phases of the industry. He currently is working on writing a collection of rock songs he hopes to publish and release. Also, he's forming his own rock band that he will introduce to the music world in the near future. But most importantly, his current focus is on Oasys where he really enjoys the feedback from his initial customers that not only have returned to his studio with new projects, but also exclaims, "you make me sound really good".

Professional Musician, Songwriter, Engineer, Producer and Arranger. A life long musician who has studied and loves many styles of music ranging from Rock, R&B, Hip Hop to World, Jazz, Advant Garde.
